Daniel Tour visits Pershore

View school newsletter report

Yesterday, mesmerising autumn mists in the vale of Evesham gave way to warm sunshine as my Daniel Tour visited Pershore School in Worcestershire. Terrific school and it was great to meet all the staff & students from Years 8 and 9. After months of exchanging emails it was also lovely to finally meet librarian and literacy coordinator Naomi Flanagan who ensured I received a really warm welcome and went the extra mile to make my visit feel special – again lots of terrific questions from both Year Groups – I really hope I’m invited back in years to come. And a big thank you to all involved helping me raise over £100 towards my Tour fund in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. I’ll add a link to their newsletter in due course, but for now I thought I’d share a couple of photos taken at a nearby hotel I stopped at.
